BEAUMONT – Beaumont police say a disturbance between two homeless people ended with a woman stabbing a man.

Police responded to the stabbing Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of South 11th Street.

Officer Joe Ornelas says the woman stabbed the man in the left shoulder and right torso. She was hurt during the argument.

Both were taken to a hospital. Their injuries aren’t life threatening. Police say both were intoxicated. Neither wanted to pursue charges.
