Beaumont Woman Assaulted
BEAUMONT – Police are investigating another case of people soliciting sex online.
Two men are in the Jefferson County Jail and officers are looking for
others accused of sexually assaulting a woman they met online.
Beaumont police say Jacoby Carrier and Jerimey Rowe met a Houston woman in
August at a house in the 3900 block of Broadmoor in Beaumont.
Police say the men forced her into the house at gunpoint. Investigators say the pair and four others then attacked her.
The woman managed to escape through a window and ran to a neighbor’s house to call police.
Detectives were able to identify two more adults and two juveniles linked to the assault.
Investigators are working to get warrants for their arrest.
