Vidor Child Injured by Lawnmower
A young girl had to be flown to the hospital by air ambulance after a lawnmower accident in Orange County.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday near Vidor.
An Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the girl was playing in the yard as someone was mowing the grass. The girl slipped and fell while running past the mower. The blade hit her foot.
The spokesperson said the blade did not take the child’s foot off, but she did receive a severe injury.
