LUSportsFan Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 If not, it will give us a chance to break out the rain gear for the first time in ages. Bad news is the wife and I will be blue and tan blemishes in a sea of red. Our red would be covered up. :) Can't be as bad as the game during Tropical Storm Lee against Texas College a couple of years ago. That was the first Lamar game the wife and I were able to attend after the University brought back football. Had a good time despite the inclement conditions. http://www.lamaruniversitypress.com/cheering-in-the-rain-1.2580028#.UjjMu7M25TM Quote

Guest CardAmbassador Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I predict this is the third time this season we hear complaints about running up the score. ::) Quote
Guest smith Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I think there is only one. Coach said last night that they'll be getting his MRI results back this morning (or later last night). Quote

LUSportsFan Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Game Day Information. As a season ticket holder, I received an email from the Athletic Ticket Office highlighting some of the activities for Saturday's game. Below is a summary of the activities in case they aren't advertised locally. 1. Kids Zone (for children 12 and under) - Practice Fields next to Provost Umphrey - Open @ 4:30pm ..........Bouncy Houses ..........Face painting and autographs by Lamar Baseball and Women's Basketball teams 2. Bretton Low Band performing at the northwest corner of Provost Umphrey from 5:00pm to 6:30pm 3. As mentioned in a post above, first 1,000 fans in attendance receive a red rally towel. 4. As mentioned in a post above, first 200 fans outside of gate 2 will receive a Red Out shirt in exchange for old high school or college T-shirts. 5. Tailgating will remain open until mdnight following the game. Sounds like a lot of fun activities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Back to the thread topic, Massey is predicting LU 48 Bacone 7.
