Guest CardAmbassador
For Offense: 70% of our snaps will be out of the pistol formation. Pistol formation explained by Doug Prewitt http://blog.beaumontenterprise.com/inthecards/2011/08/19/video-explaining-the-pistol-formation/ More on the pistol: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol_offense http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/327539/Pistol_four_wide.jpg
Guest bigred360
Im my opinion it is the best fomation to run the spread offense using the QB as another ball carrier. Plus, the RB isn't on one side or the other of the QB pre-snap so he can carry the ball in either direction. Im glad is using it as part of their offense. Guest CardAmbassador
Defense: I found this article that does a good job of explaining the 4-2-5. It's pretty interesting and detailed, but it can get a little complex too. http://www.buildingthedam.com/2010/9/3/1655936/inside-tcus-4-2-5-defense http://americanfootballmonthly.com/Subaccess/Magazine/2010/April/images/MHS-04.jpg
