The NCAA West Track & Field Preliminaries held at the University of Arkansas begin today (May 29) and run through Friday. Five Cardinals are competing in events. The events will be streamed for free on The University of Arkansas's Razor Vision. Below is the link.

Sam Stabler is competing in the 1,500 meter run. The first heat is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm today.

Aaron Bennett is competing in the 800 meter run. Aaron is running in the 2nd heat. The 800 meter starts at 8:10 pm today.

Saschelle Slaughter is competing in the 400 meter dash scheduled to start at 7:45 pm today. She will be competing in the 5th heat of the event.

Leigh Lattimore is competing in the 10,000 meter run scheduled to start at 9:40 pm today.

Louise Webb is competing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. That event is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) at 9:30 pm. Louise will be in the first heat.

Aaron Bennett advances after running the 5th fastest time of the field of 47. (One runner did not start.)

 

He will be running in today's 2nd heat. The 800 meter run event starts at 7:00 pm today.

 

The top three runners in each of the 3 heats advance to Eugene, OR plus the top 3 times of the remaining runners.
