Lamar graduate student forward Dominique Edwards has been named Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

 

Dominique Edwards had three double-doubles in as many games throughout a five-day span as Lamar moved into a first-place tie in the conference after a trio of victories in last week's conference play. Edwards has seven double-doubles this season, and 18 for her career total. She averaged a double-double through the three games ending the week with 10.3 rebounds and 15.3 points per contest while averaging 30.3 minutes.
