LUSportsFan Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 from southland.org Lamar graduate student forward Dominique Edwards has been named Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Dominique Edwards had three double-doubles in as many games throughout a five-day span as Lamar moved into a first-place tie in the conference after a trio of victories in last week's conference play. Edwards has seven double-doubles this season, and 18 for her career total. She averaged a double-double through the three games ending the week with 10.3 rebounds and 15.3 points per contest while averaging 30.3 minutes.
