MEN'S HOOPS GAINS NATIONAL ATTENTION

CARDINALS RECORD ONE OF NATION'S LARGEST TURNAROUNDS IN 2014-15

 

Under the guidance of first year head basketball coach Tic Price, the Lamar Cardinals posted a 15-15 (.500) overall record. To the average fan, a .500 record may not look like much but when placed in the appropriate context it becomes even more impressive. Lamar's overall win marked an 11-game turnaround from the previous season's 4-26 mark, which is the 11th-best single-season turnaround in the country. UC Davis got top honors with a 15.5 game turnaround from the 2013-14 season.
