I would fire our AD now!!!!! What are we getting, I see nothing. I think Woodard has 1 more year, so I would get rid of the AD this year and start planning for the future. As I see it, Woodard has to make the playoffs next year to keep his job and Tic Price has to contend for the conference title to keep his and making the conference post season tourney is not contending for the title. That gives the AD 1 year to assess the program and bring his people in then hold him accountable for the win/loss records, attendance, fund raising, academics, etc. Only coaches that are safe for now are baseball & softball.

When was the last time one of Lamar's coaches left for a better job? Only one I can think of is the cross country coach 3 years ago. That should tell us something - we have coaches nobody else wants!

If you want to provide comprehensive analysis with more accurate context of the AD or coaches performance you need to become a Cardinal Club Board member. For example do you know about the new tutoring room with numerous computer stations in the Montaigne which cost five figures and the AD personally raised the funds to make it a reality.GPA's have improved as have the men's basketball APR so they are now eligible for postseason.Improvement is desired by all so ask not what the Cards can do for you but what you can do to make the Cards better! Do not forget the new Montaigne million dollar scoreboard, new sound system and new lights that don't buzz like before and fire up quick too.

Well Baller, if he is trying so hard to raise money I find it strange that as a Cardinal Club member since 1978, an original donor to 4 Montagne Center seat options, a Lamar letterman, have 2 tailgate spots, 4 season football tickets, basketball season tickets since 1977, attended numerous baseball banquets, that I have not been contacted directly by the athletic department for any special fund raising. I would bet that our GPA's improving are directly related to NCAA eligibility requirements & how do they stand against the best in the SLC. I have not been active in the Cardinal Club administrations due to work commitments, and felt I could not give it the time & energy required to be fully effective.

According to several sources I am here that during the whole year Racial slurs and comments have been being made my Defensive line coach Eric Roark to people of color on the team. What is the story on that?? black players were being called Nigge** and suggested they were in gangs and a load of other stuff has anyone else heard of this? As news broke out yesterday that Coach Woodard would be looking into. That is just totally unacceptable and needs to be looked into immediately!! There is no place for that and may be a reason or two why this team has gone down hill.

If Cardinal Club member is not on the email list please contact the athletic department. They often send out good information. The same or very similar NCAA APR requirements were in place when Pat Knight led men's basketball .Tic Price and his staff has worked hard with the athletes and Jason And Helene Thill on scheduling and class attendance to get us APR and 20% progress compliant and now tournament eligible.I have worked with the NCAA on academic issues years ago so I would be glad to bet you a Diet Coke on this topic.I would rather hear your concerns at a basketball game in the future and try to make things better. Thanks for your passion. Also know the new softball field and locker room were well planned and I expect a good year out of women's softball and basketball .

I imagine this is a crock of crap...the whole year? and woodard is just now looking into it? sounds like a disgruntled "super star" upset about playing time.

I agree. No way a coach is saying that
