Skinny1
UCA beats SHSU 91-87 in Huntsville to put the Bears in the mix for the final 3 tournament spots. Basically forces SFA to beat Sam on Saturday to get in. Also, Tx A&M-CC beats McNeese 59-50 in Lake Chuck to pretty well solidify a spot. At this time the other 3 SLC games are still in progress with IWU and HBU in a close one as well as SELa and New Orleans. Nicholls is blowing out NWSt by 25 points with. 9 minutes left. A loss will eliminate NWSt from tourney contention. Edited March 7, 2019 by Skinny1

A loss will eliminate NWSt from tourney contention. Other final scores: HBU beats IWU 118-111, keeping HBU conference tournament hopes alive. SELa beats UNO 81-67, in a game that really doesn’t mean anything except who is seeded 3rd versus 4th. Nicholls State beats NWSt 83-60. Looks like UCA also holds the tie breaker against SFA. So right now the 8 team field for the SLC Tournament with 1 game left is: 1. SHSU 2. ACU 3. SELa 4. UNO 5. Lamar 6. TxA&M-CC 7. HBU 8. UCA Interesting that SFA, picked as the preseason favorite in the SLC, probably will not make it to the post season tournament.
SportsGuy
UCA is the last team I'd want Lamar to face in the tournament!
baller
If we tie for fourth we still get 4th place Commissioners Cup points regardless of tiebreakers.Stephen F Austin has been badly bitten by the injury bug.Roc had some bad luck with that a few promising years.A broken leg and hurt foot to name a few key injuries.Of course Tic lost Atwood who was really having some breakout games.Anybody in the tourney can beat anybody.A depleted McNeese thumped Central Ark recently so they vacillate too.
