lamarfan360 Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 (edited) The Lamar University men's basketball team earned its first Southland Conference victory last weekend, and while senior forward Avery Sullivan did the heavy lifting with a double-double, a local freshman impressed coach Tic Price, too. Kasen Harrison scored seven of his nine total points in the second half to help Lamar hold off Houston Baptist at the Montagne Center. The Beaumont United graduate has slowly but surely become a mainstay in the Cardinals lineup, starting each of Lamar’s last four games. He’s averaging 10.2 points per game this season. “He’s really becoming one of the best guards in the Southland, and that includes sophomores, juniors and seniors,” Price said of Harrison. “He keeps that ball on a string and is hard for defenders to deal with in the lane.” https://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/hs/article/College-roundup-Silsbee-native-Adams-back-for-15862575.php Edited January 12, 2021 by lamarfan360 Quote
