SLC Indoor Track & Field Championships Underway

SLC Indoor Track & Field Championships are being again contested in Birmingham, Alabama. After the 1st day Lamar men are in 10th place out of 13 teams, women are 12th of 13 teams. Considering the number of finals qualifiers, it will be a challenge for either Cardinal squads to finish in the top half of the standings.

Lamar finishes LAST in both men and women team scoring in the meet. The men only scored only 6 points in the entire meet and women scored 10 points. There are 12 SLC schools that participate in Indoor Track & Field. SFA won the men division and ACU got the women.

OMG, that is terrible! We've been bad at track and field for years now and nothing changes?!?!

The facilities have not been maintained and coaching has not really been held accountable. Girls have now finished last in cross country and indoor track. Maybe we can score the hat trick and get last in outdoor track.

Or maybe we ought to quit having a men team like Nicholls.

Get rid of em! We could add beach volleyball and bowling!

 

That would cut down on those schollys (do we give em?) to the UK and ex soviet countries. Then again, those kids are the only ones worth a flying f.

 

maybe add washers ...AND saltwater fishing!!! We would kick ass in saltwater fishing in the new, great WACk. We would have to fend off Seattle and California baptist, but I like our chances.
