LU Class of 2012: QB Matt Bergeron

Featured Replies

Young man sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders. He definitely said all the right things now he just has to get to campus in June and work his tail off!

Very interesting guy. I think he is a humble guy, love the parts about the work ethic, he sounds very sincere about that. I think also has a bit of a chip on his shoulder about being 6'0".

It's rare that you see a true freshmen take over at QB, like he says I think he will work hard in camp someone else will probably win it and he will be redshirted. But all the other QB's need to watch out, I think this kid secretly plans to be the QB in '13. A year in the film and weight room will do wonders for a QB.

He seems very excited about Lamar and it's good that he's keeping up with the new members of the team, I think the class of 12 will make waves here at LU.

Can't wait to see him in Cardinal red! I believe he will be ahead to red shirt but I agree....the other qb's better be looking over their shoulder.
Shoot, kid sounds like he could be the guy next year. He could be the next Drew Brees.
