Big T Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I saw JJ and Doug Prewitt at the UTA baseball game last Saturday. Was that you with them? Anyways JJ looked really good and in shape. Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I really think Hayes has a shot too. Hope he makes it, if anyone deserves to play in the NFL it would be him. I hope he got his speed down to 4.5. If so that's a great thing, his speed was on of the factors that I thought would hurt him. Quote
Guest mendelj Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 No, that was Caleb Berry's mom with JJ when that sat with Doug Prewitt at the baseball game last Saturday. Caleb and JJ are roommates and good friends. Caleb's mom is like a second mom to JJ. Quote
JJHAYESMOM Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 No that was not me. I wish I could be there more often but my job does not allow me that luxury. But best believe i blow his phone up on a daily basis. lol And thanks for all the well wishes for JJ. He is very determined and has worked his butt off to get where he is at. Again thanks you guys. Card fans are the best!!!!! Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 So there are 253 total draft picks this year.... Also does anyone know how many players are on an NFL team total? I mean, the roster plus the practice squad. I'm trying to run some numbers. Quote
JJHAYESMOM Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Each NFL team is allowed to have 53 players on its roster (plus a five-player practice squad Quote
JJHAYESMOM Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 they say right after draft 100 is about a rough roster then drops down to about 60, keeping 10-20 just in case Quote
lcm2007ms Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Just overheard that Carolina and Minnesota inquired about JJ yesterday Quote
Guest LU4LIFE Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I would love to see JJ with a star on his helmet. :) Quote

Guest LU4LIFE Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I would love to see JJ with a star on his helmet. :) Me too! We need a good #3 WR too. Quote
TBonesLU Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I would love to see JJ with a star on his helmet. :) I'd rather see him with a bull-looking Texas flag on his helmet. It'll make it easier to cheer him on than seeing him in a Cowboys uniform. I kid...I am a Texans fan who now lives in Dallas. However, I'll root for him regardless of where he plays. Quote
