Has anybody seen any highlights of this guy, does he look like he can compete for the top spot next year? I figure its only fair to get him in the discussion since we talk about these other guys.

He looks pretty good, but I really like his attitude, I believe he will be good for our team.Coach Woodard says in the ask the coach interview that if Bergeron doesn't win the starting position this year he will likely redshirt him.

Woodard seems pretty upbeat about the three QB's on campus right now so I'd expect a redshirt for Bergeron unless he comes into fall practices and blows the coaches away. This is what Coach said about Bergeron:

 

BRI: With the departures of QB's Doug Prewitt and Harrison Tatum do you expect Matt Bergeron to play next season or will he redshirt? (coachacola)

 

RW: "I think we're going in with the mindset he's going to redshirt if these three guys we have here now continue to perform the way they are. Now, if he comes in and beats them out then he's gonna have the job. We'll probably have him suit out in case he hit on a rash of injuries to that position but if we can get away with it I'd like to redshirt him."
