No cardinals on the list, (sam has 19, uca has 9) any thoughts?

I can't say I'm surprised, it seems like all conference teams are always composed of 3 or 4 teams players in descending order of how well they did last year.

 

I'm sure there is at least 1 Cardinal worthy of mentioning on this list but it's just loaded up with the top 4 teams from last year.

Granted I didn't expect much, but I certainly expected more than NO players on the preseason. I'm sure we deserve at least one representative right? Gillam? Malbrough? Dorsey? Kahler? Anyone? Come on Coaches and SIDs!

As I said on the other thread, these all-conference teams are always the same, the 3 or 4 best teams from last year in any conference always get the bulk of the selections.

 

It makes no sense to have a preseason all-conference team, if they don't research each team.

Its not meant to be fair. They start with the returning all conference players and go from there generally. And correct me if Im wrong but the all conference selection(s) yall had are gone...or it could just be a conspiracy. :D

No respect...that's okay...I hope we can sneak up on people and hit them hard. Let's just keep our mouths shut around the league and when it's time to play, we will surprise them. Our team will be better than last year. I don't expect the rest of the SLC to recognize this.

^^^ What he said. This is the same thing you guys complained about last year when only 1 or 2 landed on the list. They take all the All-SLC players from the end of the season and put them on the preseason All-SLC for the next year. This is done all over the country.

Preseason doesn't matter anyway, guys. How much do people pay attention to the first four games of the NFL season? What happens on the field will determine the All-SLC teams once the season is over. Those are the ones of which we want our guys to be apart.
