Looks like West Brook QB Bruce Reyes will not be walking on at Lamar University

Better late than never. Bruce Reyes, the two-time District 21-5A MVP and quarterback for the West Brook High School football team has signed a scholarship letter to play football for Missouri Valley College, an NAIA school in Marshall, Mo.

Darn, I really wanted to see him at LU. That stinks.

I think he'll play QB there and will get most if not all his tuition paid. I wish he walked-on at Lamar as a DB and earned a scholarship next year as there will be a lot of scholarships available.
