Golf Tournament highlights Lamar Football Alumni Reunion Weekend

 

BEAUMONT. - Entries are now being accepted to the Lamar University Football Mud Bugs and Putts Golf Tournament, one of the highlights to the Cardinals' annual Football Alumni Reunion Weekend set for April 29-30.

 

The reunion of former Lamar football players will kick off with a meet and greet and dinner with Cardinal head coach Ray Woodard at 7 p.m. on April 29, at Starvin Marvin's on 11th Street. Reunion headquarters will be at the Holiday Inn on Walden Road.

 

The Mud Bugs and Putts Tournament, an 18-hole, four-person scramble, will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start on April 30, at Brentwood Country Club on Major Drive.
