Me and my buddies were actually commenting that there seemed to be an extra heavy police presence around the tailgate area. Not that I have a problem with it, but it seemed like there were a lot more than usual. Quote

Not sure if it is an NCAA rule but I've never heard of a team not bringing their own police force. For example I remember seeing the Huntsville police in 2010. Beaumont Police usually acompany the Cards on away games. Notre Dame brought Indiana State police with them to Ireland this year. Not sure why this is but I remember it in high school too. Quote
