BPD Seeing Spike in Burglaries

BEAUMONT, Texas — A burglary shattering the front door and windows of Computer Dimensions on Dowlen Road in Beaumont.

Three criminals stealing iMacs, MacBook Pros, and other electronics. Vandalizing the store at the most important time of the year.

This smash and grab is part of a recent string of burglaries. Sprint on Dowlen Road and Verizon Wireless on College Street are the two others that were hit.3

Sometimes, security cameras aren’t enough. This store will now look into building a cement pole outside so cars can’t back into it.

Beaumont Police is urging everyone to stay vigilant this holiday season and call police if you see anything suspicious.
