Local Vendors benefit from PN Riverfest
PORT NECHES, Texas — The Port Neches Riverfest hosted hundreds of SE Texans over the weekend. Many from all over had a little fun in the sun with entertainment, music, and activities to go along with boat racing as the main attraction.
Also, the city of Port Neches, along with others, were hit hard during Tropical Storm Harvey. Many Southeast Texans say a festival like this helps a community come together.
“They’re looking for a festive weekend to come out and forget about about all those things and it looks like it’s worked this weekend,” said Kent Guidry with Piggin’ Out.
