With this being the opening game at home with a rumored large amount of students showing up at Provost Umphrey I expect the Cardinals to put on a show at the Tigers expense.  The strength of the Cardinals will be the offense with a ton of experience coming back.  The Cardinals will score early and often and not get off to a slow start like they did last year vs Grambling.  Look for Kade Harrington to break off a long run early to set the tone and expect a special teams TD from Kevin Johnson.

Closer than most think but the Cardinals will pull away.  Too much offense and too much inexperience for Grambling.

Ray Woodard and the Cardinals will be beginning their most important season to date and they’ll set the tone early.  They’ll jump ahead quickly and roll to an easy opening night win for the home crowd. KJ starts the momentum with a long special teams return for a TD and makes some bone crushing hits from the secondary to secure the week 1 MVP.
