Got word tonight that his fate will be determined early this week, and possible as early as Monday. He could absolutely RS this year and then play his Senior year in 2014. Question is will he consider sitting a year to play his final year at LU? That is if he does not get waiver from NCAA.

Not sure whether I would like him for next year or this year. If this year would like for him to be able to practice all week. Would be nice if he was in mostly game shape and understood our defensive system by the OSU game.

Since Jesse Dickson and Mark Murrill are seniors he would probably be more useful to the team next year. Okafor could move back to DE with Dorsey and Tebo at DT. That's a lot of size up front.

If it was the difference between a 6 win season or a 9+ win season this year, I would take him. Not saying he would have that big of difference this year, just saying if I had a crytal ball!!

If the rumors are true...we dont need him. We already had a similar experience with H. Sims and that was a waste of time.

If UT has cameras in the football locker room, they may have bigger problems than they want. Does that mean they have cameras in the womens locker rooms? This seems like a lot of speculation. One guy said weed and another guy said stealing. I don't think anybody on that fan site really knows.

I doubt the NCAA is granting him a waiver to play this year. If he even plays for LU I bet it's for next year, which I would prefer anyway. With Dickson and Murrill graduating Woodard could put Okafor at DE and have Tebo/Dorsey at DT.

"Pathetic" may not be the best choice of word. I get your point, and I think bigred7094 does too, but I doubt he's saying what he said for any other reason than to better Lamar's football team. We're all on the same team here. Argue your point. However, if the tackles leader of the Big XII comes calling, you better take a damn flyer!
