BigNasty92 Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 I can dig it. What I really liked seeing Saturday night was the enthusiasm from Kevin Johnson. He's gotten a bad rap in the last four seeming aloof and disengaged. I can tell you from my view on the sidelines, he was fired up and having fun. I also liked Mark Roberts. That kid can flat out play, too. He also had some intensity that was nice to see. Now, I don't know how well we will end up this season...and I'm cautious of being overly optimistic just because of the past few seasons..BUT I will say this. I liked what I saw Saturday night from this team. This is NOT a Cardinals team that everyone is used to watching. These kids were fired up and having fun. Sure that can change when a few losses hit your record..but I have a feeling that this will be the best Lamar team we have since it's rebirth. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this season.
