I think we have shown enough to be where we are, but I also think Nicholls State and Northwestern State could make a case for being higher than their BRI ranking. I think the three of us should be closer together in overall poll points. I know we are behind the two NSU's in the Massey rating, but some teams are making 15-20 place moves week to week in that rating so who knows. I would have a lot more confidence in the rankings if we all played all our games against FCS competition, but none of us have. I think the rankings will get more accurate as we move into conference. I see the poll more like a tournament seeding right now. Right now I see the rankings as good as any, but wouldn't be upset if someone had a different order. The games will be the ultimate decider. If Lamar would have played sloppy in any game or committed many penalties or unforced errors i might think 6 was too high. But we have played 'tight' disciplined football to this point....
