Sam plays to win...Ray plays to keep it close...

 

If Ray was coaching to keep it close today he wouldn't have tried to score with less than 3:00 left in half starting a drive from the 2-yard line.

 

He was running out the clock, Ploch broke a big run....screwed rays plan to go in 7-0

That was a big drop from Begelton on the last drive. It was a good throw and he would've caught it in stride. Instead 2 plays later a punt.

Punt coverage has been a weak point today. On 4 returnable kicks, the Bearkats have 131 yards in returns (32.75 return yards per punt).

 

We've had 6 punts for a 42.2 yard average so not a lot of net gain on our punts.

I think they heard you. We've had at least two go out including the last one.
