Switzer headlines the annual event that will give Lamar fans an up close look at the 2014 Cardinals football team. The event will begin 6 p.m. with dinner followed by the introduction of the 2014 Lamar Cardinals coaching staff and players. There will be a private reception for Gold and Red sponsors prior to the start of the dinner. The cost of the event is $100 per person, or $1,000 for a table of eight. The cost of the Gold sponsor is $5,000 which includes primary seating at a table for 10, a Red Room reception and a souvenir photo of Barry Switzer. August 25, 201411 yr Author With fall training camp in the books and class set to start, the Lamar football team had its fifth-annual Lamar Football Kickoff Celebration on Sunday evening at the Montagne Center. Former University of Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer was the guest speaker for the banquet, which included a live auction.
