coachacola Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Senior quarterback Caleb Berry became Lamar's all-time leader in touchdown passes with his third scoring strike in Saturday's win over Grambling State. For his success on the field Berry has been named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com. Berry completed 27-of-45 passes for 389 yards and five touchdowns in the season-opening victory over the Tigers, but it was his third TD of the night that placed him a top the school's record book - a five-yard pass to transfer Devonn Brown. http://www.lamarcardinals.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/090114aaa.html Quote
TBonesLU Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 http://www.lamarcardinals.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/090114aaa.html Weird, but check the Southland Conference website. It says that the ACU quarterback won the offensive player of the week. Quote
