Women's Hoops Falls at Wright Stat

Dominique Edwards registered her second straight double-double, but it wasn't enough for the Lamar Lady Cardinals in 82-61 loss to host Wright State in a non-conference women's basketball Sunday afternoon.

Edwards finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season and 15th of her career, tops among active LU players. Kiandra Bowers added 11 points for Lamar (2-8).

The Lady Cardinals led by as many as six points in the early going, and held an 18-17 lead with 10:22 remaining in the first half before Wright State (5-2) went on a 10-0 run to take the lead for good.
