LUSportsFan Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 from southland.org Headlined by Verity Ockenden, Jannika John, Leigh Lattimore and their first place finishes, the Lamar women's track and field team took third place and the men, who had Sam Stabler take a top spot, finished 11th on Friday at the Texas A&M 13-Team Invitational held at Gilliam Stadium at the McFerrin Athletic Complex. Combined, the Cardinals took down four meet records and five athletes added their times to the all-time Lamar record books.
