Spring Roster

Featured Replies

The spring roster has been posted for the second scrimmage.

I noticed that both Seth Blendermann and Tylond Robertson are listed on it. Anthony Beard is also on the roster at the bottom but he doesn't have a number. Cameron Hampton, the transfer from Texas, also listed.

Man I really like that Blendermann and Robertson are on there...would really like to RS as many OL and DL as we can so they can maximize their contribution to the program.
I know Ronald Barrett is out for the spring with an injury...guessing the players listed without numbers are out for one reason or another...promising sign that Beard is listed...whether it be they are still trying to get the 6th year or they have already gotten it and he's being held out of spring
There's a Bell Steadman on the roster (#12). I think he's another QB and he might be pretty good if he's the Rivals 2*star QB from Conroe listed here:

It doesn't look like he had any offers, at least not from any FBS schools.

Did a little digging too and from what I've seen it looks like the same kid...he attended Southwest Prep (formerly known as Texas A&T) in Houston last year...basically a 5th year of High School. They played 7 games against some of the JUCO teams in Texas...results weren't pretty but I guess that is to be expected. If he were to make the team his 1 year there won't count against his NCAA eligibility.
