I am getting killed in the 2 and 3 point games because the SLC won't behave. I missed for 4 weeks on Lamar and in Week 5 I jump off the bandwagon and LU spanks their opponent. I just don't seem to have a feel for conference games. I think a lot of people got burned by the FBS games. I really thought Louisville would be Clemson but it was a good game nonetheless. I picked OU to lose and UT to win and lost both picks. You can't trust either team and from what I understand Charlie Strong is rumored to be on the chopping block after a really bad season so far. Depending on what happens Saturday when UT and OU meet in Dallas this could be Strong's last hurrah in Austin.

I've played with the scoring the last couple of years to try and make it to where there is potential for you to make up ground if you miss a week. 1st year I did this it was straight W-L record. So if you missed a week you fell way behind. Last year I changed it to where every game was 1 point and you could get bonus points for certain games...that turned out to be a pain in the ass to keep up with. This year I basically kept that format but changed it to games being worth that amount vs adding the bonus...much easier to keep tabs on (although lack of pickers has made it easier too unfortunately). I do like having games relating to Lamar having a greater significance though. It becomes important to pick the Lamar game right as well as the SLC-SLC games. Looking at the standings as of now you are tied with Skinny1 in overall record but are 12 points behind because of it.

I have absolutely no issues with the scoring. I just haven't been good at picking conference games. I like the format, I like the games you select for the contest and it's fun to play. Like you, I wish more players were involved. If you look at the hits each week folks are looking just not playing. Maybe next week? Thanks KABro for running the game, it's a lot of fun.
