any thoughts on the game ? lets go take there money like we did Baylor last year and have them sweat it out for 2 or 3 quarters.

I hate to say it but this game is going to be ugly if you're a Lamar fan. I just hope we come out of this game without any injuries. It's not hard to believe that Houston upset Oklahoma because of what UH has shown in their last 5 games including their bowl win last New Year's Eve. Also, OU has a bad habit of sucking early in the season. It's rather unbelievable but a combination of the Sooners not really being ready and UH being absolutely ready was the recipe for the Cougars ass whoopin' of the Sooners. I doubt seriously if Lamar will stand much of a chance but it will be good experience for them. Carson Earp will need to rebound big time from the meltdown against Coastal Carolina last week. It wasn't all Earp but the thing starting falling apart when he threw a bad pass that resulted in a pick six and CC never looked back and the Cards sort of looked shell shocked. Go Cards, I hope they can rebound and play as well as they did last year against Baylor. That was a game where LU was outclassed but they played toe to toe with the Bears and even though we lost it was a game we all could be proud of. LU PROUD!
