TBonesLU Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 What a great amount of publicity Lamar is getting! Go to ESPN3.com to see Lamar's game on Oct. 1st listed! I hate to read into anything too much, but this can't hurt anything as far as conference realignment goes. This can only be good for Lamar, regardless of the content of the broadcast. I know we had the USA game rejected from being on ESPN3 by the USA AD. I am really glad this game is on next week. Go, Cards! Quote
coachacola Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I think the game is on SLC-TV so EPSN3 is picking it up. But regardless that's great news for me because now I can see the game for sure here in Austin. Quote
TBonesLU Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Yeah, by the way, it looks as though Sam is about to beat UNM out of the MWC. Quote
Big T Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The UCA Game (Homecoming) will also be on ESPN3. Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 It's awesome that ESPN3 is giving us this much love. Quote
JJWooten Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 It's awesome that ESPN3 is giving us this much love. ESPN3 always picks up the SLCNow feed, and since the SELA/Lamar game is the SLC Game of the Week, it gets on ESPN3. Trust me, you'll want to watch the ESPN3 feed because in the first game (Sam vs. Western Illinois), the SLC feed as about 20 seconds behind, extremely choppy, and would freeze occasionally. However, the ESPN3 feed, which is hooked up to the SLC satellite, was clear the entire time and extremely smooth. Quote

Time Warner Cable Channel 1509 YNN Sports!! I cant wait to finally see a game this year! GO CARDS!!! Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Likely due to SLC TV coverage but still. It's great that the UIW, SELU, and UCA games will be covered plus we should have had the USA game covered. It makes it easy for people out of the GT to catch a game. I wont be at the SELU game but I'll be there in person for NWST. My sisters father-in-law played QB for the Demons way back in the day. Both my sister and her husband are LU grads. Quote
Austin Card Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Your right it is SLC Coverage. All of the SLC Games Of The Week will air on YNN Sports in Austin. Quote
