It was posted over on our Lamar board at SETXsports: I am the GM of a brand new LaQuinta Inn & Suites in Hammond La and we are offering a Lamer Fan Tailgating Rate for any of you Lamar Diehard football fans that will be traveling to the SLU game on Oct 1st. Just call and book your room with the hotel at 985-345-4742..tell the Front Desk Clerk you want the Tailgating Rate and we will get you all setup. Normal rates are running between $99 and $109. We are giving y'all a rate of $79!!!!! We are brand new hotel, have not been open a year yet and we are just trying to reach out to the Fan Base of the teams SLU are playing this season and hopefully if it works out this will become a permanent thing.
