Lamar men play at 6:30 in Natchitoches and the women play in Beaumont at 7:00. NWST men are winless in conference and 3-19 overall. The lady demons are 2-9 in conference and 7-15 overall. Should be two games that Lamar can win easily, but especially the men have had a bad habit of playing down to the competition level and dropping these kind of games over the last several years.

Coming out of the under twelve time out, Lamar goes into their scoring drought to allow NWST to close the score to 61-58. Got to take good shots and play solid defense.

Northwestern State men may be tough next year as they played at least six freshmen a lot of minutes over the course of the game. They were bigger at every position and according to the post game discussion between Price and the Lamar announcer have out rebounded most everyone they have played. Also one of their leading scorers tonight missed multiple games with a leg injury from about the start of conference to maybe last week. Glad Lamar won't play them again this year.

Any road win is a good win! That being said, the men need to steal two of three out of SHSU, SFA, and McNeese... and this is assuming they can beat HBU on the road and win out at home.
