Cards drop game three against ACU in thirteen innings to end their winning streak at six games. Cards missed the opportunity to continue the streak on a two out two run homer in the top of the ninth to give ACU a 4-3 lead. Cards came back to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth, but were unable to get the winning run across. Cards also missed opportunities to win the game in the 10th, 11th and 12th before ACU got a run across in the top of the thirteenth. Cards are currently sitting in 8th place and will play Nicholls who is tied for ninth place next weekend. Cards haven't had their open weekend yet so despite currently sitting in 8th place will need to take the series to stay ahead of Nicholls.
