However, I don't think he redshirted at Iowa or Lamar prior to this year so maybe something can work out for him. I think Beard is a very good young player for Lamar but there is a definite drop off from Coleman. Ploch is really pretty fast for a LB at Lamar as he run's a 4.5 forty.
