coachacola Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 according to Lamar's Sport Performance site: ____________Weight___Height____ 40____Vert.__Clean_F.Squat____Cone-Drill Mike Venson-__160______5'9_____4.62____31_____220_____300________5.70 Jacob Hanna-__210______6'0_____4.57____35_____328_____445________5.21 Caleb Harmon-_200______5'9_____4.75____36_____323_____405________5.56 It appears Jacob Hanna is bigger, stronger and faster than the other two. Looks like he should get a lot more playing time. So what do you think is holding him back? Dare I venture a guess at what you think it is? Don't go there. Quote
Guest NorthoftheBorder Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I am not trying to be controversial or insinuate anything. I saw exactly what Coachacola saw. I saw Hanna run for Lumberton in High School. What I haven't seen is him run in practice at Lamar as a comparison. It seems on paper he might be a good choice, but the race isn't always won by the swiftest or strongest, although the majority of the time it is. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Harmon came out the same year Hanna did and I believe he had around 400+ more yards. That could also be that he played 1 or 2 more games. I can't remember. My point may be that LU needs a power running game for sure in the red zone. These two guys "might" be a solution to that problem. Quote
