coachacola Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 The sideline is where Jeremy Johnson is closest to his mentor. That's where he continues to learn. Guest CardAmbassador Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 That's a good story about Jeremy. I hope the story is wrong about Jeremy not playing until 2012. The only way I want that to happen is if Bevil starts performing more like he did in the SELU game. Say what you want to about that competition but more of Bevil's throws were 10-15 yards and not 40-50 yard bombs like we saw continuously against TxSt. I don't know if that is play calling or the quarterback but we need to figure out how to drive up the field without the aid of one huge pass. Those passes are only going to be there against teams with bad secondaries, NWST and TxSt had better than average secondaries. Quote

Guest bigred360 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 If we a losing to UCA I can see Johnson coming in like he did against Texas State. Quote
