Who are your top 5 SLC RB's?

Here are my top 5 returning Southland conference running backs:

5. Fred Ford SFA- I know he was down on their depth chart but I think he'll prove himself and gain more touches for SFA this year. He had a decent season for a freshman last year.

4. Terence Bobo Central Arkansas- versatile kid that played well vs us last year in Beaumont.

3. Depauldrick Garrett Lamar- Played very well until he hurt his shoulder and we'll need him to carry the load even more this year if the offense struggles. he looked good in the Spring Game.

2. Richard Sincere SHSU- The guy is electric and a thread to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.

1. Tim Flanders SHSU- Easy choice.

Sam Houston state will be loaded and a handful again this year even with all the returning players from a team that went to the championship. At least they're coming to Beaumont.

I don't know that I would put Depauldrick that high only since he's technically never played an SLC game before. I think 1 of our 2 new RB's could be a game changer for us though this year. We've never really had a guy out of HS like Desmond Richards. Handy is also a highly rated RB prospect, with those types of recruits maybe one of them will be able to help Garrett out in his first year.

garrett definently not in the discussion till he plays a SC game same goes for ford since he didnt play much either.

I'd like to see some of you guys top 5 backs. I don't think its wrong to rate a player based on talent and potential. Is it wrong to say that Andrew Luck will be the top QB in Indianapolis even though he hasnt taken a snap in the NFL? Fred Ford played in all SFA's 11 games last season and averaged nearly 6 yards per carry as a Freshman but his touches were limited. I think he uses his talent to separate himself a little and get more touches for SFA thus my #5 SLC ranking. Depauldrick may be too high on my list to some but make an argument for who should be rated higher? Maybe the UCA kid but I like to think Garrett has what it takes to have a solid year for us. I like what I saw from him before he was injured last season and what I saw at the Crawfish game.
