coachacola Posted October 12 Posted October 12 LU is sitting at 5-1, all wins against FCS opponents. The schedule has been relatively easy but they only had one easy win against Texas Southern. Next 6 games look to be a lot tougher. I think they'll be lucky to end up 7-5. I predict they'll go 2-4, losing to a team they should beat and beating someone they should lose to. Quote

To me, they're more of an enigma than ETAMU because their signature win is over Prairie View. Just keep focused. Quote

We would likely not make the playoffs as the losses would be to SFA and SELA. And they would get the only 2 SLC bids. This would be a good season, more improvement, show we are going in the right direction. But we will be disappointed not being in the playoffs! Having said that, I have real hope (not pie in the sky hope) that we will go 10-2 and make the playoffs! I really feel we have a chance, and I am believing in Rossomando more each passing week! Quote

I think 10-2 definitely gets us in. Have to take care of business the next 3 weeks. The Vaqueros are playing confidently so they won't be an easy team to beat. Get that win and the focus can shift to the Demons (who I believe lost to PV, who is the best win on the Vaqueros' ledger). Just keep focused on the team in front of you and we can get our first ever 10-win season. Really- we've never won 10 in a year. Lost 10 three times... never have won 10. Quote
