April 3Apr 3 Cards host #9 OSU for three games. Cards play tough but drop the opener 2-0. Game two is Friday evening at 6:05.
April 4Apr 4 Author Oregon State takes game two 8-0. Thing I've seen in these first two games is the quality of the OSU pitching and speed of their offense on the base paths. Batting they have gotten to both of Lamar's best pitchers scoring four runs on Olivier this evening.
April 4Apr 4 Author Lamar used three of their least used pitchers in this game. I don't know if that is because since the Cards were down early Davis decided to save more experienced pitchers if the Cards could make a comeback or if the Cards have more injuries than we know about.
April 4Apr 4 Author OSU finishes the sweep of the Cards 10-3, but the Cards do break the scoring drought.
