coachacola Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 According to Chris Dabe, Tyrell Collins of Ozen will walk-on at Lamar as a defensive end. Here's his scout profile: http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=5377287 Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Despite the losses we had at receiver and other positions, this should be our overall deepest team in many ways, especially on defense. Guys like this might not see the field or they may impact it directly, no way of telling, but one thing is for sure. We will have injuries, and at least on the defensive side of the ball, we should have enough depth to cope well with those injuries this year unlike the last two years. Quote
puddin tane Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 hope he checks in at more than 202 to play DE Quote
TCDAD Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Last weigh is he was at 237, I think is going to play OLB not DE. Quote
Guest NorthoftheBorder Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I saw a pretty big kid at practice last week with his parents. I spoke to them as I was leaving & they said that they hoped he was going to suit out & start practicing pretty quickly. Can't be the same kid as he was definately an interior lineman by his size and heavier than 237. Quote
Who Dat Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 tcdad posted hes up to 237 pounds which is nice. Quote
Guest LU 17 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 This kid sounds like we got a steal. I hope he can get on the field. Quote
Guest bossman73 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 sounds like a stud!!! hope he plants RB,QB(not ours) in the ground!! Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 We might need someone like Tyrell to step up if its true that Beard is out for the season. That's not confirmed yet though. Quote
