Purchasing a cannon for TD's and field goals. Ideas?

Featured Replies

I think the only thing the Cards need is to ramp up the offense and score some points. Nothing like a TD to rev up a crowd! The stadium PA is pretty loud so maybe some fireworks on the big scoreboard a la the old Astrodome and borrow from hoops a little, play the Gary Glitter song, Rock and Roll Part I, or something similar, something to get the fans to stand up and clap. Video displays are easy and less hassle and less dangerous than a cannon.

I'm pretty sure SFA has a cannon too.

Yes. The cannon is manned by the ROTC guys at SFA. My kids love it!

I think a cannon shot reverberating off of the Montagne would be pretty cool at your games. Until then, I guess the fireworks will do. Are they shot at every home game? They were when SFA came to town.
