BigNasty92 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 If Moss will just chill out and quit playing scared we might could get something going on offense. Defense looks great Maybe if the o line would keep guys out of our backfield, he wouldn't have to play that way. Garrett is also a TERRIBLE blocker. Quote
austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 damn, another score O-line needs to start controlling the line or this may get ugly, defense can only do so much Quote
austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 They are going to blitz the rest of the night if we can't run the ball Quote
coachacola Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I wouldn't be surprised if Berry comes in to play since he's a little better on his feet. Looks like Hawaii is about to score again. Quote
Austin Card Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Our Coaches need to let Mosso have a couple of free licks on each offensive linemen at practice on Monday. Maybe with a bat. When o when will we get a line. Quote
05BigRed Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 O line is absolute garbage. Secondary looks lost. Now d line is wearing down cause they haven't gotten off the field. O line is really killing us. RB has 3 people on him as soon as he gets the ball. Moss has no time to do anything Quote
Guest LU4LIFE Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I'm starting to get the feeling we are not going to score in this game. Quote

austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 the brudder is killing me... Quote
austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 This is getting worse, no line support Quote
Austin Card Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 We cant even block for the kicker. All I wanted today is not to be embarrassed. Looks like that's not going to happen. Quote
05BigRed Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 WOW. Quote from Woodard at beginning of season. "our special teams will be the most improved part of our football team this year" Quote
Mike Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 WOW. Quote from Woodard at beginning of season. "our special teams will be the most improved part of our football team this year" Considering they were atrocious on special teams last season he wasn't reaching with that quote Quote
Guest LU4LIFE Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I can't lie I some what expected this but can't help being pissed off right now Quote
cardinal Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 This has gotten pathetic. Offense totally sucks. Special teams are sorry. Sims looks slow as hell. Why is the putter taking 20 minutes ti get a punt off. We run out the clock down 28 points?! Do we have a pass play over 10 yards in our playbook? Defense looks ok but they are done now because our offense is so horrible Quote
austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Thoughts on the first half: 1. Defense is playing well, a few lapses though 2. Offensive line is useless, almost like there is no blocking. 3. Blocked punt ruined punter's earlier performance. 4. Can't run the ball, so they are going to blitz unless we can find a way to counter the rush. 5. Decent 1st quarter, turrible 2nd quarter Quote
Mike Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 We cant even block for the kicker. All I wanted today is not to be embarrassed. Looks like that's not going to happen. If the offensive line would just block a little this could've been a much better 1st half. This was only 7-0 for the longest time until the defense just got wore out. Quote
BigRedTrack Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 O line can not block decent college players for 3 years. These Hawaii players are not huge or NFL prospects. We are going to get killed against the top 3 teams in the SLC. Almost ready for the BB season. Quote
Guest NorthoftheBorder Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 If we don't fix the o-line problem we are not going to make any improvement!!! Quote
cardinal Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I wouldn't be surprised if Berry comes in to play since he's a little better on his feet. Looks like Hawaii is about to score again. I hope he does. Moss looks scared and wont throw the ball down the field. Quote
austin badbyrd Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Need to somehow do something to counter the pursuit, running in the teeth of the defense isn't working Quote
BigNasty92 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 2 mistakes cost us big (diving for that punt and losing it..then the blocked punt returned for a td). Eliminate those and we're only down two scores. O-line needs to buck the hell up. I'm still impressed with Moss' poise under the bad circumstances. Quote

Austin Card Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 And to top it off our coaches look like goofballs with their Hawaiian shirts on. LOL Sometimes being a Cardinal is a little frustrating. Quote
cardinal Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Need to somehow do something to counter the pursuit, running in the teeth of the defense isn't working Bring a tight end in to help block and throw the ball down the field! And don't freak out if the primary receiver is covered. Some of the o line issues are MOss' fault. Quote
