Guest NorthoftheBorder Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/Woodard-OK-with-level-of-physical-play-3881492.php I would sure have to watch the game with the coaches for them to show me how our O-line didn't get physcially whipped!! The game I watched on TV showed that we could not move an inch the Hawaii D-line nor hold them out of our backfield! I will say that the defense was not physically whipped, but the Offense was!!! puddin tane Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 "The physicality of the game has not been our problem," Woodard said. "In both the Hawaii game and the Louisiana-Lafayette game, I thought up front we held our own. wonder what Ray watches instead of the game......... Quote
coachacola Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Wasn't Woodard talking about the team as a whole, not just the o-line? I think everyone knows (including the coaches) that the o-line needs a lot of work. Woodard keeps saying that the offense is a work in progress and the defense is ahead of the offense. Quote
