coachacola Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Lamar has been a frequent home for four-year transfer players in the two-plus seasons since the revived football program returned to the field. The school has also had a share of transfer players leave after only one season. None of those departed players matched the productivity of Oklahoma State transfers Kevin Johnson and Herschel Sims. That duo has combined to score all eight Lamar touchdowns this season. Link: http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/lamar/article/Newest-Lamar-transfers-enjoying-success-3893799.php Quote
LU1991 Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 They are definintley making an impact unlike some of our other transfers in the past. From what I hear, they are also showing some leadership; something we needed. Quote

I agree; for me, the most impressive thing is that they are making the most of this opportunity and not looking in the past. It would be very easy to think "what if" about Oklahoma State and whatnot. I'm glad they are making smart decisions and busting their butts to make their current program the best it can be. Quote
