coachacola Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Starting linebacker Darius Taylor for SHSU has been suspended for the Lamar game by the SLC. Quote
puddin tane Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 they could suspend their whole defense against our high flying, potent "Wild Ray Ray" offense SHSU -52 LU-2 oh crap, sorry..thats first downs SHSU-48 LU-0 Quote
Dream Weaver Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 it's going to be a lot closer than what people think! have faith fans! Quote
Guest NorthoftheBorder Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 SHSU A lot Lamar A little Show some Kahunna's and give us a score. I am going to say: SHSU 52 LU 13. It will be a lot closer in the first half but with our defense on the field for most of the game they will wear down and the score will get lopsided!! Been our pattern for the year against good teams. SHSU will not pull the dogs off for this game as they will use the score for any recruiting advantage they can get out of it!! Quote
coachacola Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Weekly predictions from around the web: RealTimeRPI.com: 43-11 SHSU MasseyRatings.com: 35-10 SHSU Compughter Ratings: 36-9 SHSU Average Score: 38-10 Quote

AceHigh Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Even though UCA beat SHSU, it is my opinion that the Bearkats are the toughest team in the Southland Conference. In other words, I don't think we'll play Sam as close as we did UCA. Hope I'm wrong and we beat the heck out of them. SHSU - 40 Lamar- 17 Quote
puddin tane Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 i think SFA will score the most on us..hell, McMurry had over 300 yds passing... Quote
brcardfan22 Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 62-7 SHSU They will put their foot to the gas and not let off.. we are about to get killed Quote
Guest Cardinalrule Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 What do you guys know about predictions?? My prediction is 1) we will first establish the running game whether we gain yards or not. 2)We will throw 7 yrd passes when we need ten yards. 3)We will see passes not very accurate from our #2 QB.(Reason in #4) 4)We will see our QB getting hammered by their d-line. 5)We may see our #3 QB run the wildcat because he can't throw either. 6)And if we are three scores behind we will establish the run game. 7)I'm sure we will see Moss in a cast if his wrist is still hurt after 3 weeks.(something fishy here) SHSU 52 Lamar 10. I agree with almost everything on here except, we will see accurate passes from our number 2. It seems the more difficult the throw the more accurate he is. If we start running the wildcat I am going to wear a paper bag over my head to the next home game...or maybe I will bring one with me just in case. Quote
Guest CardAmbassador Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 If we keep it within 4 or 5 touchdowns it will be an improvement over last year. :( Quote
Guest bossman73 Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 UPSET LAMAR 24 SHSU 23 ON MISSED EXTRA POINT DUE TO RAIN!!! HAVE FAITH AND A WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT!!!!!! Quote
nickels Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Lamar wont be able to run and their line wont hold up during the blitz and when it does for a brief moment, Berry or Moss wont be able to put the ball where in needs to go. Bell has a big game unless we are consistency successful running the ball every play in which case you'll get a healthy dose of Flanders, Sincere, Wilson, Hill & Frank (sounds like a law firm huh?). Sam special teams has another big game and we coast through the 4 in an empty PVH. SHSU - 41 LU - 10 (Sam blows a coverage assignment early and RayRay decides for the FG late even though Cards are down big) Is your prima donna reciever going to be back or does he have more "migraines"? puddin tane Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Bell...the one player I aint worried about....throws like my sister 20 mph wind...Sam's running game against the "Wild Ray-Ray" running game...we are gonna get pasted Quote

puddin tane Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 actually, he's 2nd in Pass Effiency..which means he throws a mean screen pass lack of a real passing game doomed ya last year in the playoffs, will do it again this year Quote

I think he has proven himself better than any Lamar QB ever has (he actually wins). Funny seeing playoff trash talk from a Lamar fan, a team which will never sniff the playoffs let alone get as many wins as Sam did last year. Quote

Sam fans really do "try" to be nice to you Cardinal fans but d-bags like you make it really hard. Having said that, I hope both teams come out of an entertaining game injury free. Quote
