puddin tane Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 ummm..the ncaa http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fcs they also have LU at 16 in total defense and yes, I'll give him credit for that I will say...the defense stats were helped tremendously by PV,McM, and Langston (and yes, hurt by ULL and Haw)...see how it shakes out in conference.....Sam, tho a better overall team in my opinion, doesnt worry me nearly as much as SFA...passing game...mcM had dudes running wide open all nite, qb just couldnt hit em or they dropped em....still gave up a bunch of passing yards against a frat team next 2 games will tell. Who Dat Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Sam Houston 34 Lamar 17 much closer than the experts think but kats pull away late after a couple desperation turnovers. Quote
Redrain07 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 I think we are going to have to play near perfect to keep it close. If we turn the ball over even once we are out of the game. So maybe we can keep it close but it will be tough. Quote
JJWooten Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Kats 48 Cards 7 YOU are being fair. It maybe worse than that unless or pre-game preparation and schemes are better than what we have done so far!! I In Sam's last 4 games, they've scored/given up 187-59. They shut out Nicholls on the road and only gave up 10 to McNeese at home. I think Lamar is somewhere (offensively) between those two, so I chose 7. I think the defense of Lamar is a little better than TSU/SFA so I bumped us down from 50. Quote
